All I did was wipe the drive and install a fresh copy of MacOS High Sierra. I've recently taken up programming (specifically right now, The Odin Project's front and back end web development course) and have set up a VM to run Ubuntu on my Windows 10 desktop. I received this MacBook with the upgraded storage and RAM, though I am unsure on whether the battery was replaced or not. I have a 13' mid-2010 MacBook Pro with the Intel Core 2 duo processor, 8 MB of RAM, 320 GB hard drive, still running OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. It rapidly depletes when in use, I estimate about 1 1/2 hours of use off 50%.

I found an article online of a 2013 owner having a broken DC conversion board or whatever (drowns in technical jargon) but I don't think it applies to me.Īt times the battery will reach 52%, others 47%.
